Zinc Selenide ZnSe CVD
Zinc selenide ZnSe CVD is polycrystalline material with a grain size of approximately 70um. Working spectral region of ZnSe is 0.5-15um. ZnSe CVD is extremely uniform in structure and has high optical transmission with low bulk losses from scatter and absorption. Zinc Selenide ZnSe CVD, produced by the method of chemical vapour deposition. Due to its low absorption at 10.6um ZnSe is the preferred material for optics used in high power CO2 laser systems.
ZnSe uses in optical systems operating at various bands within its wide transmission range from visible to long wave infrared LWIR. ZnSe has a high resistance to thermal shock making it the best choice and main material for high power CO2 laser systems.
Novotech has the capacity to perform diamond turning, polishing, and custom manufacturing for all size orders from prototype to production quantity.
